@johncu71 @AndrewWMBF @jamiearnoldWMBF Hurricane Matthew was the first that we experienced (after relocating to SC) of that magnitude. Those winds caused us to lose 22 pine trees That's right 22 came down! Fortunately it did not damage the house but it was eye-opening 🌀☔️💨🌲🪾‼️

5:00 AM THURSDAY - HURRICANE ISAIAS >>> While you were sleeping, Isaias became a history making hurricane. It’s the latest first hurricane on record - beating out a 1905 hurricane by 3 and a half hours. Winds are now 80 mph with a peak intensity near 110 mph by Friday. Hurricane and storm surge warnings are in place along the central Gulf Coast with landfall coming Friday night between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. #SCwx @wmbfnews

32 YEARS! That's how long it has been since the Atlantic has had a "hurricane-less" September! It's been 114 years since a hurricane season did not produce a hurricane by September 30th. Can we make it all the way to the end without a hurricane? We have two more months to go. #SCwx @wmbfnews
