Our paper is out! Prior to #MRgFUS for tremor, 40 patients actively took an anticoagulant/antiplatelet, while 56 patients didn't. No hemorrhagic events in either group. A practice to ponder.

Can you have focused ultrasound therapy for PD or ET tremor and stay on your anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs. This new study by Rolston in 40 subjects is small, but says it is OK to stay on them. No complications. https://t.co/3VPEhD7goE
Congratulations to the Mapping & Engineering Neural Dynamics (MEND) Lab led by @RolstonJohn for being awarded the Best Operative Technique Poster and the Best Clinical Research Poster at the 2023 CNS Annual Meeting.
