Propaganda technique; what he did here is write a sensational headline unsupported by facts in a story, then hand it off to an influencer and PAC network to boost and embellish.
The real story here is that it's using Drop Site's brand for disinformation, and campaign comms.
San Francisco needs a leader in Congress who is prepared to fight for the people, not the powerful.
Connie Chan has the experience, the values, and the determination to do just that.
With one week left until Election Day, please join me in supporting Connie for Congress!
Yesterday, the Rose Pak Asian American Club spoke out about a "racist" AI-generated image of Connie Chan and Saikat floating thru social media.
Turns out, it was posted by a fellow congressional candidate: Marie Hurabiell.

Oakland! This evening’s results are encouraging. I decided to run for Mayor knowing that Oakland is a deeply divided City–and I ran to unite our community. We worked hard every day to earn every vote! Thanks to you, in our 100 day campaign our Faith, Labor and Business Coalition and over 500 Oakland volunteers focused on personally engaging voters in every corner of Oakland by:
- Building a broad coalition of over 800 personal/organizational endorsers – thanks also to the Democratic Party and Labor for directly engaging their members to vote
- Identifying over 10,000 BLEE yeses and turning them out on Election Day in our Souls to the Polls and community GOTV efforts
- Organizing 71 house parties and neighborhood events
- Participating in nearly 30 community forums and debates
- Delivering nearly 3,000 yard/window signs and over 150,000 pieces of voter information
We are exceeding expected turnout for this special election, because the people of Oakland care deeply about our future. Democracy at work! I look forward to further election updates!

I ate dinner at Chinatown’s legendary Sam Wo restaurant to mull its closure after Sunday night, and what the historic neighborhood is losing as generations shift and fade away.
I hope Chef Ho can retire in Guangzhou and never work another shift.

A prominent S.F. Asian Democratic club has dropped out of the local Democratic Party.
Members say the brand of the Democratic Party has become toxic to local Asian voters.

SAN FRANCISCO!! But specifically Mission, Bernal, and Portola, THANK YOU.
Here in D9 we don’t beat up on our city and the most vulnerable. We lift each other up across lines of race, class, and gender.
People power beat money here, block by block. ☀️💪🏽

Today is the big day! It’s also always great to bump into fellow candidates working hard to campaign in the community!
Please remember to vote today! You have til 8 PM to make a huge difference in how YOU affect our community’s future.
With only 3 days til Election Day, we’ve been working hard to campaign in the Marina and the Sunset.
It’s great to meet with you in the community and it’s always wonderful to meet with future constituents! Please remember to vote!
Hi friends, I’m sharing about my support of No on K.
Prop K proposes the permanent closure of The Great Highway in SF. As the only candidate taking a position, I believe in transparency and open discussion.
I challenge my opponent to be just as open!
Final days of SF mayoral campaign - 3 major candidates hosting Asian rallies:
@AaronPeskin: Progressive Chinatown
@MarkFarrellSF: Westside Chinese
@LondonBreed: All the powerful Asians
Where's @DanielLurie's rally? I knocked on his Chinatown office door, but no one answered...
I'm excited to announce that I've been recommended on the California Democratic Socialists of America's voting guide. I'm committed to fighting for progressive policies and change to support our community and residents.
PSA that we are less than a WEEK from Election Day! Things are really exciting at Campaign HQ, but we're prepared to continue to keep our momentum going for the next 6 days!
Please remember to vote on Election Day if you have not done so already. Every vote makes a difference!
