Our rhinoceros family grew by about 100 pounds on Monday night as 11-year-old eastern black rhino Jozi gave birth to a baby, adding to the world population of this critically endangered species.
For your weekly music rec, I present: The Amazing Devil.
If you are a fan of the Witcher or the music from Skyrim, The Amazing Devil is a dramatic, lyrical alt-folk band formed by Joey Batey (aka Jaskier) and Madeleine Hyland

Here's an idea, don't spend money you don't have, especially not on gifts for others. Simple, homemade things are always an option, and are often more appreciated than the overpriced, flashy alternative.
As someone now in their 20s, I can definitely attest to the idea of not marrying until at least 35, if not later. No one gets to say when or with who I have to spend the rest of my life with. That decision is for me alone, and I am in no rush to change just because of 'research'.
Most young adults believe it’s best to delay marriage past your 20s and to live together first. Research challenges both assumptions. https://t.co/FSCDnROxIf https://t.co/FSCDnROxIf

For this weeks music rec:
Any song by James Marriott. His music is mostly indie with splashes of rock and alternative thrown in. He has yet to release a single track I do not like.

Took the district far too long to comply with such simple demands, but glad to see teachers back in the classroom. I hope the student's didn't lose too much time while they were away.
The 97th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place on Thursday, stepping off a half-hour earlier than usual. Here's what else will be new, and how to watch, either in person or on TV. https://t.co/JA3nMdzkZi
Honestly have never been a big Black Friday fan. It's mostly just an excuse to buy a bunch of stuff you don't need. Some things are nice, but it's mostly brand-name stuff that goes on sale, things I'll never use.
A fascinating article from guest author, Walter Cruttenden, on the ancient belief in a vast cycle of time, and the impact this has on the rise and fall of great civilizations.

Good article.
I too have found that grieving as a community is far easier than grieving alone/with a select few. I like to think about death as a celebration of life and of all the years lived with a person, rather than simply the end. Souls can live on forever in our memories.
This could actually be a lot of fun. Though, I can already hear the cries of twisted ankles and bruises as thousands of people who have never been on the ice, make attempts to skate like the they are at the olympics.
