I've been campaigning in & around 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿's care system for 15 years now.
8yrs ago, at my Board interview for @CHScotland, I spoke (and provided a solution) to the archaic practice of the law surrounding @ChildReporter sending out a 12yr old child, their whole history of hearings

Trauma survivors are not always hanging onto the past, the past hangs onto them in the form of visceral sensations, stored in the nervous system like unwanted guests. If it was a problem of cognition, then letting go would be our greatest accomplishment in recovery.
