@NewsDayZimbabwe Medical aid societies are businesses and profit making, and because many dialysis and cancer patients are relying on private treatment centres because there is no capacity in the public health system, we are therefore beholden to medical aid companies.

@NewsDayZimbabwe Early detection and prevention is critical to arrest kidney failure and this can be done through public information and awareness on the main causes of renal failure e.g. diabetes and hypertension and all other risk factors that increase the chances of renal failure
