I never realized how much trauma I’d wade through to write a silly romance story. There’s some things I have to deal with I guess through the eyes of my characters, and that’s quite comforting honestly. They can be a mess but I know it’ll end well.

I’m not sure why it is, but starting act 2 is always the hardest part. The beginning is easy; the climax is the best — but staring down the length of the journey after that first step is always the daunting part, where I second guess myself.

It’s really fun writing my book - in that the style is so far from my regular one. It’s so.. basic, in the prose.

The plot is very fun, that’s the point! It’s not overdone, unlike earlier stories I did

Those become the ones I never want to do

I must find the joy to create, without the timeline pressure!

It’s odd seeing so many #IndieAuthors and feeling like I’m not to be counted because my work isn’t finished. But that is foolish; the work is never finished and that’s the beauty of it all. That I write makes me a writer, that itself is the accomplishment.
