BREAKING: Body found in singer D4vd’s impounded car identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas who went missing from Lake Elsinore in 2024

Celeste Rivas, 15, was identified by the Los Angeles County medical examiner. The official cause of death is listed as “deferred.”

The car is registered to 20-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd

Rivas was reported missing from Lake Elsinore in early 2024

Authorities discovered her body on Sept. 8 at a tow yard near Mansfield Avenue and Romaine Street in Hollywood

Officers were investigating a foul odor from a Tesla that had been at the lot for two days after being found abandoned on a public street

Police found Rivas’s body inside a bag in the front trunk of the car

The body was in a state of decomposition
