I suspect after the failed Disney partnership, it's just too expensive and doesn't have the mass appeal to keep doing.
Good. It had a good run. Makes room for what's next.
Love to find examples of genuine work collaboration and AI usage.
Does the team huddle around one computer prompting for activities to run?
Or do you setup work completely differently now?
What’s your view on a company wide hack day?
Should it focus on problems or opportunities with the business?
Or should it be completely open for teams to make anything they want, like a drinks dispenser?
It’s 2026 and you can’t buy a wall mounted TV with no visible wires.
Samsungs The Frame is closest, but still hasn’t solved the plug “bulge”, so they still have a silly wire going down the wall.
And Vesa mounts are just trash.
This, rather than AI in my TV please.
NEW: Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky is starting a new AI lab. Company is in its early phases, and considering a focus on design and UI. Chesky will remain CEO of Airbnb. Per sources.

I don't watch the BBC anymore. I wake up to Radio 4 and that's it. I'd honestly shift iPlayer into a 'BBC+' streaming service and make the licence fee a subscription, which is virtually the same thing.
Reading with interest over lunch the FT article on the new director-general at the BBC. He says that they have been 'less focused on the product' citing iPlayer.
He's cutting 2,000 jobs too, so there's a need to reduce cost, increase efficiency & improve
