No, Frank is wrong. Restore can never gain enough support to gain power. Rupert Lowe will only divide the right and prevent Reform getting into power. We don't have a presidential system in the UK so we need a strong Reform majority and a commitment to undo the worst laws brought in by Blair and put the country back on a path to economic recovery. This will probably take at least two terms in office.
@CuriousPejjy I think you're more likely to see the inverse. People can only buy if others are selling. Demand is so high from retail, index funds, and institutions that the supply will drive the price up.
@ChuckCook@DevinOlsenn@StantonJenkinsX@Tesla_AI I don't know if its deliberate or not but I agree with you Chuck that the incentive is to let FSD push a bit more into an 'uncomfortable' situation for the driver. Maybe Tesla want to see how more edge cases are handled to generate more data. The march of 9's goes on.
@Tesla_App_iOS So are 'wheel-less Cybercabs' specifically a type of vehicle in the code rather than just 'Cybercab'. Do you think this then implies a 'Cybercab with wheel' is potentially a future vehicle type?
I don't think we should ignore these quotes from Walter Isaacson's book 'Elon Musk': “We want to make sure we are assessing the risk with you,” Tesla’s longtime chief designer Franz von Holzhausen told Musk. “If we go down a path of having no steering wheel, and FSD is not ready, we won’t be able to put them on the road.”
He suggested that they make a car that had a steering wheel and pedals that could be easily removed. “Basically our proposal is to bake them in right now but remove them when we are allowed to.”
Later, after von Holzhausen and others continued lobbying: “We convinced him that if we build these factories and we have this platform, we could churn out both Robotaxis and a $25,000 car, all on the same vehicle architecture,” von Holzhausen says.
@thejefflutz Plus 50,000 vehicles were produced in Q1 that will be delivered in Q2. The cost of production is in Q1 the profits will ALL be recognised in Q2 🚀💵
@matthughes13 We could have already bottomed. The set up is certainly there but it is better to wait for conformation before committing or set a very tight iron clad stop loss if you like higher risk entries.
Joe, I totally respect what you are pointing out but this also means the CyberCab must have been engineered to enable pedals and steering wheel to be fitted. Whether Tesla ever chooses to sell a CyberCab with a steering wheel and pedals is the question we don't yet know the answer to.
