No repeat grant reviewer, I do not reside in the medical school but that also doesn’t de-legitimize my ability to do neuroscience or neuroimmunology. I recognize I am not an expert in your sub-area but I am an expert in what I do. ✌️ #MorningSass#ProfLife
Debating becoming more active on here again…..I’ve had a few year hiatus from consistent posting and boy do I have a lot on my mind and a lot to say 😜😂 #ComeBack
Happy to share our latest paper published in @purinergic Purinergic Signaling where we show that guanosine can rapidly restore dopamine signaling during ischemia! This is the first (I think!) time it’s been shown that GUO modulates dopamine signaling!

Happy to share our latest paper out in ACS Electrochemistry! @ACSPublications Here, we take a deep dive into understanding interfacial interactions between carbon fiber and estradiol. Fascinating electrochemistry, check it out! Congrats Moriah and Vivek!

You know what’s frustrating? Trying to address reviews on a proposals for resubmission and realizing that literally 1/2 of their comments are already addressed in the text. Clearly they didn’t read it carefully. I initially was disappointed in myself thinking I missed stuff. Nope
Really enjoyed our labs potluck lunch today! Such great cooks and wow the diversity of dishes from around the world was awesome! Love my group! They truly are some real good people 💜❤️
Excited to share our latest in @AnalBioanalChem ! We designed a 3D printed chip capable of delivering a local stimulus to tissue for improved lengths of time compared to our previous devices! we use a “floret design” to fully encapsulate the stimulus 🌸

Huge thank you to the Eastern Analytical Symposium @EASorg for inviting me to give the keynote this year! What an honor. Imposter syndrome was high this week but everyone was so welcoming. What a great community of analytical scientists!

It's officially online! Please go check out this incredible work by my team! I am so proud of this paper and the people who contributed. Also, publishing a paper in the Journal of Immunology was a post-tenure goal of mine. Box checked 😍

Holy crap. My lab. MY LAB. Just got a paper accepted in the Journal of Immunology @ImmunologyAAI
Omg I’m so excited. Are we legit now?? Can the reviewers of our grants take us seriously now 😭😂😜
Congrats Alex and all co-Authors for their incredible work. Will share soon❤️

Also thank you @ACSChemNeurosci for including this in their journal! I love reading this journal and am always proud when we get a paper accepted here 🤩
Happy to share our latest demonstrating the impact of abundant neuropeptides in lymphoid organs on voltammetric norepinephrine detection. FSCV has been around a while but we still have lots to do to improve detection! Congrats Alex, Sarbesh and team!

Why is it that I have to get terribly sick the first week of class?? I feel like complete death. My luck these past few months has been awesome. #Sarcasm#ProfLife
Happy to share a collab paper with the Luo lab @UCNeurosci: Inhibition of PTPRS function does not affect the survival or regeneration of dopaminergic neurons but alters synaptic function in the nigrostriatal pathway
Congrats KJ for leading the FSCV!
