I also think things like upselling products is easier when split. But maybe Iโm missing a trick to easily pull the right variant through if I did it the other way!
@tombrown@shanerostad Our main reason is that by having a separate product for each colour, you can display all colours easily in a collection. If you have variants, you only display the first one on a collection page and so youโre kind of hiding products.
@aaronrubin@codyplof Iโm looking to do the same as Cody. By having one store though, would you not have the problem of stock showing as available on site in the US when inventory is actually 0 in your US location because thereโs stock in your UK location for example?
