@dr_obbs Mechanically, how do F1 diffs' parts interact? I saw some photos recently but can't match it with my Technic experience:)
Aero, 2 Merc questions have come to mind. Why have the first FW element below the nose tip; how well can vortices be directed? THANKS!
I haven't done an #F1Giveaway in a while, so here's one. Share this tweet and follow me to win one of my 2015 @McLarenF1 Austrian GP race used sidepod keyrings. These keyrings are nearing the end now as both sidepods have been almost used up. https://t.co/MPdOvGcK9J #Competition
@SpannersReady@SomersF1@mattpt55 Are ECUs and other hot electronics still in the cockpit, or were they all forced into the sidepods?
Are S-ducts still a thing? Could the be routed into the cockpit for driver cooling?
@dr_obbs The diffusers on the side of the floor towards the front appear to push significant outwash. Is this the case? How much impact would there be from outlawing these paths? Would running the fences through to, say, the rear axle line offset such a ban?
@JoePompliano Are the power and processing in their own unit, or somehow packed into the bit in the helmet? If the former, I assume it is in the sidepods now the FIA disallows electronic boxes in the cockpit. Thanks!
