During a shooting rampage in Hollywood on December 9, 2011, Chris Johns filmed from his apartment window as 26-year-old Tyler Brehm opened fire on vehicles and pedestrians below.

After Brehm shot music executive John Atterberry (who later died from his injuries), Johns began yelling and taunting the gunman from above in an attempt to draw his attention away from other potential victims.
