@Internation2079@KDH__8 It’s a fucking joke that he’s replying to. It’s not real. Also we do not want him, he has zero ambition to play for Ireland so I’m more than happy to see him get zero international caps. I’m shocked that as an Irish person you didn’t cop that it’s a windup.
@michaelbuck1990@tom_anseo@Irishhurleys@DLynchSport I bought a Tipp away ticket, and got my allocation for the two Ennis games in the buildup to each of those two. Last week I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from the club secretary to say they were getting an allocation for Cork and I requested a couple then.
@michaelbuck1990@tom_anseo@Irishhurleys@DLynchSport We were told that our 2 home games would be allocated through the clubs (because of capacity) and that Thurles and Cork were on general sale. The PUC game was showing as sold out from the first moment I looked. I wasn’t chasing my club for a ticket I didn’t think they would have.
@michaelbuck1990@tom_anseo@Irishhurleys@DLynchSport By the time we were made aware from the clubs (at the last minute basically), people had made other plans and both counties were through. The few tickets on sale at the kiosk yesterday were given back by both counties because of the sunny weather I’m willing to bet.
@michaelbuck1990@tom_anseo@Irishhurleys@DLynchSport The North Stand was 50/50. I know because I was facing it in the South Stand with plenty other Clare fans. I was at the match and I know plenty others that were too.
@michaelbuck1990@tom_anseo@Irishhurleys@DLynchSport There were no tickets available on Ticketmaster from the start, original allocation sold out almost immediately and were mainly snapped up by Cork fans. It was only a week ago that we got contacted in Clare to say there were tickets available through the clubs.
@finnster1977@Cormac_Tom He was some man alright. Here’s a good one: he captained the Galway team that lost to Laois in the All-Ireland Semi Final in 1949, and went on to referee the final between Laois & Tipp.
@Cormac_Tom@finnster1977 He did indeed. He would have used what you might call pioneering methods back then, sports science & the psychological side of it before that was even a thing. Thanks for the transcription. I must send it and the video onto the family. Nice work again!
@finnster1977@Cormac_Tom I like to think he was anyway! The Connacht SHC is named after him. Inky Flaherty. Captained them to a National League in 1951 as well but was unlucky to play during a fairly barren period otherwise. Anyway, the whole video is great 😊
@honthebanner51 I saw when the team was announced that the reason Fitz hasn’t been playing is because he’s been slowly recovering from injury, great to hear he wasn’t dropped because of form or training.
