I want to thank my family and my team for their continued support throughout every step of my professional career. When I was a child, I always dreamed about competing on the @PGATOUR, and I am just as excited today to announce that I am returning to the PGA TOUR. Being closer to home and spending more time with my family makes this opportunity especially meaningful to me.

Orlando trading for Desmond Bane is the type of aggressive move I love to see. They’re officially going for it.

Last summer they chose KCP over Klay Thompson, a solid decision that kept expectations manageable while Paolo and Franz continued developing. Now, a year later with those young guys bonafide, the Magic recognized their window and made a real push.

This trade cranks up the pressure significantly. If they deliver in the playoffs, they’ll be positioned beautifully for years with that core. If they whiff this season, say peace to the staff and front office.

But that’s exactly why I respect this trade. Playing it safe doesn’t create championship opportunities. Sometimes you have to take calculated risks when your moment arrives.

Bane’s shooting and two-way impact gives Orlando a legit chance to make a run in the East. Paolo is ascending, Franz is borderline All-Star, and now they have the pieces around them.

Better to swing for the fences than spend years wondering “what if.” Props to Orlando’s front office for recognizing their timeline and acting decisively.
