Let’s compare poor Christian nations with poor Islamic ones.

The Philippines: I was there last year. Majority Christian, about 91%, financially poor. But walk the streets and it's joy and music and hospitality. Cities filled with dancing and laughter. You might get offered a meal and a karaoke mic in the same hour.

Now compare that with poor Islamic countries like Somalia, Yemen, or Afghanistan.

What is the fruit? Fear. Depression. Violence. Kids holding AKs. Women hidden. Joy that feels restricted and illegal. Questioning faith is dangerous. Conversion can be deadly. Apostasy penalties exist.

And our Bible says the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Show me that fruit of Islam. Show me gentleness in Sharia law. Show me peace in jihad.

You can’t—because the root determines the fruit. So don’t judge by claims. Don’t judge by numbers. Judge by the fruit you actually see. And if you're honest, you can see which one leads to freedom.

39 little children and 7teachers were kidnapped by terrorists in Oyo state. One of the teachers was brutally beheaded on video.

The sister of an ex-minister and her twin kids were kidnapped. And within 3days, the security forces have secured their release.

The kidnapped children of the poor, some of them 2year olds and 3year olds, are languishing in a terrorist hellhole for the last 3weeks with no hope of a rescue but within 3days the kidnapped children of an ex minister got released by govt forces.

Well, incase you need another reminder, YOUR LIFE, THE LIFE OF YOUR CHILDREN AND THE LIVES OF ALL YOUR LOVED ONES is absolutely worthless to this government. These incompetent heartless lunatics in power will watch them kidnapped, killed, beheaded and do absolutely nothing.

All he wanted in that moment was one chance, just one, to say a proper goodbye.

When I was Muslim, I compared Muhammad’s last words to Jesus’ last words.

Not just the facts, but the spirit behind them.

And bro, the difference is staggering. It shook my devout Muslim faith.

According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Muhammad’s final words included: “May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.”

Those are words associated with his final moments.

No forgiveness. No reconciliation. No peace.

Now compare that to Jesus.

Beaten, betrayed, tortured, hanging on a cross with nails through His wrists, Jesus says:

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

And then: “It is finished.”

One dies speaking curses.

The other dies extending forgiveness.

One ends by drawing lines and reinforcing division.

The other tears the veil and reconciles heaven and earth.

And whether people like it or not, final words reveal something deeply personal about the heart.

That contrast shook me.

Because one man’s final moments reinforced separation, while the other’s changed eternity through mercy, sacrifice, and love.

Please sit with that honestly.

During that period, he was brutalized simply for daring to contest. Check the tweet below.

At the time, Desmond Elliot appeared comfortable being a beneficiary of the thuggery and intimidation that surrounded the election.

Reports of violence, harassment, and the suppression of opposition candidates became part of the political atmosphere, and Olumide was one of those affected.

Today, the same Desmond Elliot is crying about intimidation and the withdrawal of his security details.

Ironically, this is the same political system he once benefited from.

If he is now being pressured because he refused to step down, then he is experiencing firsthand the kind of political culture that has long been used against others.

Desmond Elliot was handpicked by Femi Gbajabiamila and enjoyed the backing of the All Progressives Congress political structure in Lagos.

The same machinery that was used against Labour Party candidates like Olumide is now turning against one of its own.

Elliot, bear the consequences.

Don't call on the public.

And if I may ask, what do you expect us to do?
