@nslambert If it were me, I’d certainly feel aggrieved. What is the point of having VAR it gives pens that aren’t, allows soft pens, and then refuses far stronger calls? Just awful lack of consistency.

Uruguay have been absolutely robbed by two terrible decisions. Clearly should never have been a penalty against Gimenez vs Portugal, and if many of the penalties given in this world cup were given, such as those Messi won, todays was 100x as strong. Disgraceful.
