Love them or hate them, the Young Bucks are actually the perfect final opponent for Sting. They're heels, and people will wonder/worry all the way until March whether the Bucks, EVPs of the company, will put themselves over the Icon and break his "streak" à la the Undertaker.

I will add though that an "impending downfall" most likely sparks the morbid curiosity of people. The wrestling industry has seen major players fail, or more recently, fall from prominence. And people are likely drawn in by the idea they may be witness to a phenomenon.

Like politics, or sports, etc. the wrestling industry is susceptible to division over identity/alliance to a particular cause. For example: the most successfully mainstream period in wrestling was propelled simply by the existence of two rival companies.
AEW receiving the bulk of the hate publicly just boils down to economics. WWE has far and away stronger financial stability and a larger fan base. So, if your only goal is to leach off of the industry for your own personal gain, the most educated decision is to side with the WWE (again, operating under the principle that you're just a POS leach).
Then, you pander to that group by making them feel like they're on the winning team. That in-turn draws attention to you that you can attempt to capitalize on, such as hosting a podcast where you're compensated for advertisements. Rinse and repeat.

The only correct answer is Moxley. All the others would have to endure significant reeducation before they'd even be considered a player in WWE. Mox not only has been through reeducation, but he's also formerly held their world championship already.

People last week conspired into thinking WWE was going to acquire/prop-up TNA only for TNA to release new belts with Anthem Sports & Entertainment's logo emblazoned on them. Ironic.

TNA Wrestling X-Division Championship 2024 I was lucky enough to work on the new TNA Wrestling championships throughout 2023.

The X-Division championship took inspiration from previous designs, the large red X in the centre emulating previous designs

I think it just comes down to money, really. The relationship between TK & EB soured, and there was no more money to be made there. So, EB pivoted to pandering against Tony and AEW to increase his residuals from WWE. Simple, really. EB is just a carny POS.
