@13Leafs01 He’s 22 while the others are older and in their prime. He will be within this contract, and 1 point/gm+ avg each season = he’s worth it. There will be equal/higher paid W in yrs2-6 (Hall?). Contracts are relative to cap, market, age. All of which contribute to paying young talent

@13Leafs01 But he’s signed for 6 yrs at that same amount. I get u believe goals are only what should be looked at when negotiating contracts. But it’s not, especially when building a young, balanced team. @ me when his contract is up. Unless u convince Dubas to trade him for Connor Garland

@13Leafs01 Yes those are them. Cros does have more G tho, u are right. Same with every other NHLer. We definitely need to trade him. Depth D are needed. Too much passing and not enough goal scoring.

In 10-12 less games.. he’s quickly figuring things out with a coach that fits AND signed for another 5yrs! Sounds worth it to me

@StatTheObvious_ Experienced D, especially RHD as UFAs will get term no matter what.. that’s always the gamble in FA. Seems like a good idea to invest in the guy who’s been producing (set to have career high season at 30). If ur signing 1 of them for 6-7 years what’s 18 months difference in age..
