The Rossway Group is one of the founding groups within The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). Formed in 1968 and now based at Shardeloes Farm.

Our 2 new recruits Murphy & Finn have now met each other, found the indoor school ( probably a first for Finn) and have begun their training to become RDA horses. A long but we hope rewarding journey for them both.

Come to our Open Day 1-4pm Thursday 11 July 2024 at Shardeloes Equestrian Farm. You are welcome to meet us and see what we do, have a cup of tea and even make a donation if you can.

Fingers crossed that Darcy passes the vet and will join us in time for the start of next term. She looks great and will help our adult riders and perhaps those wanting to drive instead of ride. Exciting times

It’s a new year, it’s a new term! We are looking forward to welcoming our riders and helpers again. Term starts tomorrow 20th January. Ends 7th April. Half term 24th February. It’ll be a chilly start so wear lots of layers!

Training day for volunteers tomorrow 10th Sept - we’ll be working out current Best Practice rules. Fingers crossed our strategy will prove safe for us to return to riding the following week.
