On 7th June, Rtc Mbuya began the “Create lasting impact” RI year by sensitizing the little ones at Youth Aid Primary School Mbuya on waste management. The reuse, reduce and recycle gospel was shared with a main motive of curbing climate change. #Rotaractlegacy #RotaryEyamba

Yesterday the 8/06/26, i and my team had the privilege of serving at Mbuya Youth Aid nursery and primary School, where we donated scholastic materials, food containers, and water bottles to pupils.

The school identified a shortage of personal feeding utensils and containers as a key challenge, with many learners lacking adequate items to safely store and have their meals on time. Through this project, we were able to help address that need while also supporting the pupils’ educational journey.

A heartfelt thank you to all our Rotarians of @rcnakawa @NakawaRc , Rotaractors of mbuya hill @Rotaractmbuya , aspiring Rotarians, and Freinds of RC Nakawa, whose generosity, Presence, time, and dedication made this initiative possible. Your commitment continues to demonstrate the true meaning of Rotary’s motto: “Service Above Self”.

We were also honored to have the media on ground documenting the impact of the project. Stay tuned for detailed coverage on Bukedde TV and Radio.
