Thank you to everyone who bought a duck. All prizes were donated by Allander members, family and friends along with one from The Scottish Gantry. Thanks also to the Milngavie Scouts and their leaders for their help and willingness to get wet.
We are pleased to say that all 2000 ducks were sold. As a result, with a few minor deductions, we have raised £1998 for charity.
There were 12 prizes on offer. We have recorded the first 25 ducks so that if any winners do not claim we can move to the reserve list

Our best wishes go to Johnny Gray who is competing in Romford at the national final of Rotary GB&I Young Musician Final today playing his cello. Having won @RotaryAllander local heat he progressed to win the Rotary Scotland South competition and won the @rotaryscotland final.
Congratulations to Johnny Gray from @DouglasAcad who, playing the cello, has won the @rotaryscotland Instrumental Young Musician competition. Johnny was representing @AllanderRotaryClub. He now qualifies for the @RotaryGBI final that is being held on 28th March in Romford.

Due to the bad weather we had when we ran Santa's Grotto we ended up some perishable items. With the agreement of @MilngavieBID who underwrote the Grotto we have now donated 80 selection boxes to @EDFoodbank to their Milngavie location at St Joseph's Church.

4 Douglas Academy and 2 Bearsden Academy pupils took part. There were no Voice entries.
