VE Day 75th Anniversary. Flight Lieutenant Clifford B North. F/Lt C B North’s work with barrage balloons enabled the first bringing down of a German plane on its way over the city of Hull. Post-war, Cliff North as he was widely known joined the Holderness Rotary Club in 1959
