We are a friendly fundraising charity with members from all backgrounds, providing volunteers and support for local events. New members are always welcome.
It was a great pleasure to be able to present a cheque for £500 to the St Ives Dementia Friendly Community. The group goes from strength to strength bringing a little joy into many people's lives. They held their Summer Concert on Sunday at the Corn Exchange.
It was great to be able to repeat our popular Bake Off recently. We had 9 entries from years 7, 8 and 9.
All of the entrants produced a Victoria Sponge judged by Rotary President Sally Heffer-Martin, Holly a local baker and the Cllr Philip Pope - Mayor of St Ives.
Earlier in the year we held a games evening in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, where we remembered our dear friend, and Rotarian, Steve Coleman who was lost to the disease. We raised £1000 for MND Association. We presented a cheque to 2 of the MND Ass Cambs.

We were honoured at the recent Mayor Making ceremony in St Ives when the Mayor, Councillor Philip Pope, presented the Volunteer of the Year Award to the Rotary Club.
President Sally was privileged and very proud to accept the award on behalf of the Club.

Rotary Pub Quiz raises a record £3,300 for charity
43 pubs and clubs entered, competing simultaneously on Thursday night, 30thMarch, for the coveted Top Team Trophy, which was kindly donated by @PeterLaneHDN estate agents, along with bottles of wine for the top teams.
The Rotary St Ives’ Charity Quiz is being held simultaneously across 41 Pubs and Clubs on Thursday March 30th.
The top ten teams win money for the charity of their choice, as well as a special £100 prize for the largest team. Please go along and support your local team.
The Rotary Club of St Ives has held its 7th Primary Schools’ Year 6 Quiz, with @HoughtonPrimary proving victorious, scoring 140 out of 150 points. In all, a record number of 13 of our local schools entered, with over 275 Year 6 pupils taking part all teacher supported.

This week at Slepe Hall we hosted a Burns Night, with special guests, Cllr Philip Pope - Mayor of St Ives, Piper Roy Sloane, and the brilliant Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society, led by Kate Gentles.
Before dinner, we had Rotary’s very own Iain recite Address to a Haggis.
Musical Instruments donated. In the nine years since we started the project in 2013, we have distributed over 215 instruments to the local secondary and primary schools and colleges. Big THANK YOU to all the local residents who have donated them over the years for their genrosity
We were thrilled to be able to donate some money to Over Day Care Centre last week for their Christmas Lunches. Two of our members, Jo Cornish and Adrian Acton enjoyed taking part in the festivities. ..... 🎅🎅🎅
It was a pleasure to host a Christmas Party for our Ukranian Guests in the Corn Exchange earlier this month. The food was really enjoyed by all, on a very cold winters night. It was a lovely evening with the Ukrainians chatting with each other.
Young carers had a surprise visit from the Rotary St Ives Cambridgeshire today. Thank you Santa for spreading festive cheer to young people who help look after a family member. @CaringTogether
