@felixherbt@PoliceNG IT IS ALL ABOUT DISCIPLINE AND TRADITION THE ARMY RECRUIT SECONDARY SCHOOL TOO DO UBSEE THEM BEHAVE LIKE DIS, THE POLICE DONT HAVE DISCIPLINE
@sirkris62615475@OzorNdiOzor Judges don’t pass laws. That’s the job of the legislature (Senate and House of Reps). Judges only interpret and apply laws in court. So your anger is misdirected.
@DavidHundeyin The smarter lesson is that Africa needs stronger regional trade, refineries and energy independence so dat events in the Middle East cannot hold the continent hostage in the first place. Thanking a foreign government for creating a global crisis is not patriotism.
@DavidHundeyin There has never been any credible evidence that the US was planning to invade Nigeria to “protect Christians.” Nigeria is too large, too complex and too strategically different from places like Iraq or Libya for that to be a realistic scenario.
@DavidHundeyin pushed African countries to buy more from Dangote and other regional suppliers, which is a good thing. But that happened because African governments were forced to adapt to a dangerous disruption, not because Iran was doing Africa a favour
@DavidHundeyin Also, praising a war that killed thousands and pushed oil prices through the roof is strange. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz hurt African economies as much as anyone else. Fuel, food, transport and electricity all became more expensive across the continent.
Yes, the crisis
I used to have a favorite cousin. We grew up together and she’s just a year older than me.
We did everything together as kids, played, molded clay houses, called each other by our names. We were so close and practically inseparable. There was even a time we had to go stay at our grandparents’ place together because of how attached we were.
We never had issues until I got admission into the university while she was in a polytechnic. That was when her mum started acting funny towards me, and it got to a point where I stopped going to their house.
Then one day, out of nowhere, her mum asked my age in front of my mum. My mum answered, and she tried to argue it. My mum got upset and asked if she was the one who gave birth to me. That was when she said, “Even if that’s the case, Bola is still older than Derin, so she shouldn’t be calling her by name again. She has to start adding ‘Aunty.’”
That was where everything changed.
My cousin too started acting different and began insisting I call her “Aunty Bola.” My mum told me to just do it for peace, but I refused.
She told her younger sister who I’m 8 years older than to start calling me by my name if I wouldn’t call her “aunty.” I didn’t even argue, I accepted it.
Since 2019, things have never been the same. Our relationship turned sour, and till today I still refused to give anyone of them a chance to speak to me again, the parents inclusive.
@truth_soci35668@FabMargs@Big_Mck As at then your 60k was worth $500. Now imagine that money you kept it in treasury bills for 18 years renewing it every year without touching interest it will be worth $5k to $8k on an average 17% interest rate per annum after inflation.

Personally speaking I like that it’s monetized but I can understand their frustration of the algorithm being covered in Ai Slop for monetization reasons
