UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE THESE THINGS FOR BLACK PEOPLE:

- Performed 6 rounds of chest compressions
- Stood over a body and squeezed 2 units of O- blood
- Patched and plugged bullet/stab wounds
- Consoled screaming mothers and grandmothers
- Watched a teenager’s lights leave their eyes and subsequently their soul
- Done postmortem care on dead teens
- Called the state to report the death and cause
- Been in the room for a cancer diagnosis
- Given out extra bus passes for patients to get home safely
- Paid for patients to get an Uber in the middle of the night to get home safely when discharged from the ER
- Got fired for placing an IV perfectly in the neck (out of scope) to save a life because the doctor was too scared and fresh out of school
