Our P5 children received a very exciting letter today - from Buckingham Palace! Last year they had invited His Majesty to join them for their community café and today they received his apologies and congratulations for their hard work.

This morning P7 and P1/2 took a walk to lay a wreath for Remembrance,. The school also observed a minutes silence.

Library events team were out on the road with our e-van pop-up library yesterday visiting Rothienorman School. Fantastic book borrowing, Bookbug, and story time activities were delivered to all classes.

Well done to all who took part in our Scottish Poetry Competition! Our winners from each class are Daisy, Amily, Ruairidh, Hollie, Jayden, Harper and James. The winners won a well known book translated into Scots.

Due to heavy snow and road conditions, Rothienorman School and Nursery will be closed to everyone on Wednesday 14th Dec. Teachers will send work to pupils via seesaw.

Many thanks to @WallaceIsabella for providing fantastic training for our teaching staff last week at @MeldrumPrimary. We all had a great time, and have been trying out lots of strategies already!

It was kindness week at Rothie this week. Everyone earned lots of kindness hearts for our Kindness tree. Mrs Robertson also had some helpers to make kindness cookies. They were so good, they were nearly gone before we got a picture!
