@MizukiSakura25 I'm working on a modding tool alongside it. I'll release it at the same time or a bit later. It'll let people tweak various parameters to their liking.
@MizukiSakura25 Hey! It adds an over-the-shoulder camera with corresponding character behavior and free aiming, fixes to the in-game geometry, and features like shadows, materials. It makes the game feel more like the Resident Evil remakes. There are also plenty of settings you can customize.
And secondly:
Dino Crisis Modern Edition - what started as a camera mod grew into gameplay changes, mouse & keyboard support and other QoL additions.
It’s in closed testing now and fully playable from start to finish.

Help Me Choose the Default AimWalk Mode!
for Dino Crisis Modern Edition
Let me know which one you think is best. And of course, feel free to suggest other options if you’re not happy with any of the aiming movement modes.

@caramelo_gs Yeah. Now I just have to somehow pull all of this together and turn it into a polished project, haha. We’ll see how it goes. For now, I’m planning to stick with it and get it to release. Thanks!
And lastly:
3) Dino Crisis Modern Camera MOD - it’s practically playable! There are still critical bugs preventing a full playthrough, but the new camera is finally completely smooth with no freezes.

Progress over the last month:
2) Slime project - I finally finished the evolution tree UI! It’s not final yet, but it feels great to have all the functionality working. I also improved the in-game UI a bit

Hi! Progress over the last month:
1) I almost finished Tile Designer (renamed it to STILED). After testing, I realized it still needs some features and improvements. Hoping to release the editor next month!

Hi! Here's my monthly updates:
Tile Designer - a spline-based editor for creating PS1-style environment tiles.
Dino Crisis over-the-shoulder mod with modern controls for Regina (still fighting camera streaming issues).

@Cryveil@TheHollowFang I tried playing the King's Field 1 remake and Lunacid: Tears of the Moon. Honestly, the remake feels and looks worse than the original to me. Lunacid: Tears of the Moon seems to be about the best result that can be achieved with that engine.
Second:
- Kings Field 2 Light Engine Mod.
Works well, but the lighting and bugs would still need more work
- Dino Crisis over-the-shoulder camera.
Camera behaves well, but the original game's code complicates movement

@TheHollowFang Yeah, I know about that engine. It's still not clear how good it actually is. Wasn't Lunacid: Tears of the Moon developed on an older version of it?
