@DEFITofficial #NewYearChallenge is coming to an end. I liked the 4 week activities combined with some social(media) interaction.
I’d love to see the next challenges in the app, that would be awesome. #MoveInto2026

[Palolem @RotterNick]

Walking for rest day. I try to have a nice walk on days without other activities.
Waiting #DEFIT on Solana because I hope it gets more traffic again. @DEFITofficial #Solana

@DEFITofficial #NewYearChallenge Week 2 task4: record a minimum of 60min of any activity. Done ✅ @SmithMrmintmark @joEPS66 have you done it already? 🔥

[Palolem @RotterNick]

btw looking back at 2025 for my best sports memory I have to say The Unknown Race in April was one of my highlights. Riding roughly 1000km through Italy during rain, snow, wind, night and day has to be on this list 😂

@DEFITofficial #NewYearChallenge Task 3 & 7 of week two.
Rest days are made for walks, even long ones outdoors. I usually combine it with music or podcasts, here a screenshot of my nightride playlist. It’s loud and rough but I kinda like it every time.

[Palolem @RotterNick]

Week two of @DEFITofficial #NewYearChallenge is almost over but I got to do some stuff to have enough entries 🫣
Week 2 Task 1 @redfish_invest @fquentin900cbr am I a little late? 😬

[Palolem @RotterNick]

Last activities for the @DEFITofficial #NewYearChallenge with a biking and a running activity.
Healthy recipe which I am on since new year is cereals with fruits, nuts and Joghurt for morning.
Does this during and after pic count as bike clean in winter?🥶

[Palolem @RotterNick]

And this is task 2 of the #NewYearChallenge @DEFITofficial Walked more than 15km this year with #DEFIT Enjoying the snow a lot. @_schomi_

[Palolem @RotterNick]

⛏️ WHY #BITCOIN? ⛏️

As we enter a brand new year, Bitcoin’s foundations, economics, and infrastructure continue to strengthen.

Here’s why we choose $BTC 👇

🔸 Bitcoin was built to be used:
In his New Year reflections, Congressman Warren Davidson revisited Bitcoin’s original purpose: a permissionless, peer-to-peer payment system, exactly as Satoshi Nakamoto envisioned. Looks like more voices in traditional institutions understand Bitcoin better than ever.

🔸 Institutional conviction keeps rising:
Cathie Wood reaffirmed ARK Invest’s $1,000,000 BTC price target by 2030, pointing to accelerating adoption, scarcity, and Bitcoin’s growing role in global finance.

🔸 Mining fundamentals remain strong:
At the 2025 Bitcoin & Mining Year Recap Webinar, @GoMiningInst broke down a year that reinforced Bitcoin’s resilience, from hashrate growth to more efficient, globally distributed mining.

Bitcoin isn’t here to ask permission. It’s here to work — across borders, cycles, and systems ⛏️🔥

[GoMining @GoMining]

And it stays that way.

[GoMining @GoMining]

Mining exposure is changing.

Hashrate is shifting from machines to markets — and becoming a true commodity.

Great breakdown from Fakhul Miah on this next phase of Bitcoin mining 👇

⛏️ WHY MINE #BITCOIN? ⛏️

Mining is powering the future.

Here’s what’s up this week 👇

🔸 Miners pivot to AI — Big names like Cipher Mining, IREN, and Riot are being rated “outperform” by analysts because they’re reusing their mining power for AI and data center compute.

🔸 Long-term holders are stacking — The latest @GoMiningInst research analysis shows 155+ day holders now control a growing share of supply — a clear sign of conviction and accumulation among the more experienced.

🔸 Green power wins — The trend toward renewable energy in Bitcoin mining is continuing strong. As miners lean more into green power, they’re helping grid stability and reducing emissions.

On we mine 💪⛏️
