Rottingdean Parish Council have received a formal offer of the transfer of St Aubyns Field and associated buildings from Fairfax Properties, as per the section 106 agreement. The Council have 12 weeks to respond. The offer will be discussed at the 6th December Council meeting.

The next meeting of Rottingdean Parish Council will be on Monday 6 September at 7.30pm in the Main Hall at the Whiteway Centre. This will be preceded by a meeting of the Planning Consultative Group in the Round Room at 7pm. All are welcome. See the website for details.
Rottingdean Parish Council are reinstating planning meetings prior to the monthly Council meetings. The next meeting will take place from 7.00 pm to 7.30 pm on Monday 5 July at the Whiteway Centre and will allow Parish residents to discuss planning issues or concerns.

Steyning Road closure
Councillor Sheppard has spoken to the UK Power Network. The road has had to be closed due to a power cut affecting houses near the junction with the High Street. They are working to reinstate the supply and hope to re-open the road, some time tomorrow.
