“Communism sounds good in theory but…”
Let me stop you right there compadre, bc capitalism doesn’t even sound good in theory. Oh ya, 13 people owning 99% of global wealth, ya let’s create a system that makes that possible. What the fuck is wrong with you?
No they weren’t, they were implemented for ad breaks in the US tv market. Obviously.
And the criticism is the instinctive resentment of something clearly cynical and profit-motivated being presented as benign and friendly.
They raped a man.
They gang-raped him.
They raped him so brutally that he had to be hospitalized.
Doctors documented the injuries.
The video of the assault was leaked.
Now the rapists are free.
This is not just unlawful and immoral. It is sick!

They're changing the narrative from "protecting kids" to "stoking division" which is at least slightly more honest about why they're really passing these laws: top down censorship and control of our information ecosystem
If adults are truly concerned about children's access to social media (which is undoubtedly harmful), parents should stop their own children from using it (rather than delegating their parenting to the state).
The same parents who currently give in to the demands of their children will also give in to them after the ban is implemented. As a former headteacher, I worked with thousands of parents. I've witnessed the pattern countless times.
The social media ban for under 16s will do nothing to safeguard children against harm, as evidenced by Australia. In fact, the opposite is true.
The vast majority of children in Australia are still on social media sites, except they're now "adult only" sites.
The social media ban is really about digital ID.
Britain will be one of the first democracies in the world to require IDs in order to access the internet openly.
We are sleepwalking towards a total surveillance state.
The worst time of my life came when I became chronically ill and had to claim benefits for the first time in my life
I was left destitute twice by the DWP, and had to rely on Foodbanks to feed my family
I failed 2 work capability assessments, even though I was virtually bedbound
Unelected and unaccountable Quangos are out of control.
Volunteers removed 200 bags of rubbish from a river after years of neglect, pollution and fly tipping.
So the Environment Agency’s threatened to prosecute them! Idiots.
“We won’t clean it and you can’t either” 🤡
I’m sorry, this is total bollocks. I have been looking after my river for a decade and you have done absolutely nothing to support me and the other hundreds of volunteers who give up their free time to do your job for you and to stop the river we love from dying.
This picture is the part of the Aldersbrook that we haven’t yet restored. Do you agree that allowing one of the ancient rivers of London to disappear beneath a layer of sewage, silt, rubbish & knotweed is a disgrace? If so, when can we expect EA teams down in the river to sort it out?
🇬🇧 STARMER HAS NO MANDATE FOR A SURVEILLANCE STATE
Keir Starmer says he will continue delivering the agenda he was elected on.
The problem is that mass online surveillance, digital ID checks, facial recognition requirements and internet censorship were never put to the British people.
No one voted for this.
No one was asked whether they wanted the Government monitoring access to social media or expanding state control over the internet.
This was not in the manifesto.
Starmer is governing as though he has a mandate for measures the public were never given the chance to approve.
The Labour government are trying to create a digital prison for the entire British population with the government as the prison wardens. No one voted for this.
👁️5 things the Government won't tell you about Starmer's Great British Firewall
If we accept digital ID checkpoints for social media access, we will only be handing the next generation a new fight for liberty.
Join the fight back⤵️
