@NCC_CCN Hi! We went there yesterday june 18,2024 around 6.15pm yet the enclosed swimming dock was closed off completely already & no one was allowed in. Just wondering why?& if you post exceptional “early closing time” elsewhere?, as the ncc river house page read closing time:7pm.Thanks!
Guess who was appointed “Cadieux-Léger Fellow” 2023-2024🥹 & now joins #globalaffairscanada on a super #policy adventure while continuing #phd field work 🤓😎!! I am stoked, proud, happy, all of it . Gosh hard work pays off !!! #foreignpol@Carleton_U https://t.co/yVtDOIrYKK
@OttawaHealth@VeraEtches Gd reminder but 4 what purpose exactly?isn’t it strange BigEvents “continue”,pple infecting e.o.The economy needs spending, but leaders must make intentions Transparent, admit they won’t impose restrictions not to take the heat.Where we be wks.Later?then wat?NOdoctors? #Bproactive
@LillyResearch @Intl_Journal Yes, yes, and yes!! My heart is full. So happy and ever more privileged. This really hit home. Phenomenal encounter, class, contributions, thought. And, most fulfilling news in 7 months!
@IMateosylago This was an eye opener to me, super interesting and insightful direction, thank you for raising/sharing this! Will definitely be on the lookout now:)
@RosalesAntulio@b_momani Spot-on.This was our research hole recently with @LillyResearch Exactly what the reads provoked in me, thanks both for putting it out here!If nations like Canada jump the “me first” bandwagon,what/who ‘s left to maintain the global order’s stability&equity on health,a public gd?
In a nutshell! One of the very reasons I choose to be in policy research every 1 day I get, with “Wellbeing as a way of measuring policy impact” always in the background. #policy#research#phd#lovewhatyoudo

@LillyResearch When i first relocated few months back,I had narrow knowledge of domestic USpolitics &of the Canadian state of affairs.I am privileged to have met you &exchange views that have utterly picked my brain. Now I attend US-CND debates & formed policyviews already on CND-going forward!
Loved point of departure of this study, from Rodrik’s trilemma and touched on topics i care about and been engrossed in recently: namely on multilateral institutions’ reform, their importance in our new order , US unilateral knack, and practical ways forward.
A research agenda for contributing improvement of global institutions, highlighting the need for more analysis of the interaction between domestic and international institutions, from @renee_bowen_lyn and J. Lawrence Broz

@abisat Reality is, we are a long way away from that. With a broken system, how do you talk to IMF&who expedites national interests. Gvt impasses in Lebanon cut deep. But u’re right, does evthng have to freeze? Actioning policy is root of the problem in LEB, less so policy itself i think.
@SamCoatesSky Can elected leaders of a “democracy” just pick up their marbles and leave, just like that and amid times like these, times of de-globalization and shifting gears with a new post-pandemic order? I wonder, Where do we want to take this world, with policy choices like this?
Such a refreshing, enriching , thought-provoking watch! Couldn’t have come at better time& rigorous #Sovereignty debates with @LillyResearch Compelled to be Rodrik-biased, beautifully. Yes to thinner globalization, social contracts and policy space!Loved Sapir’s brain-picking too
in case you missed this fantastic lecture by @rodrikdani and the wonderful reply by @Bruegel_org André Sapir on the famous trilemma. #BAM20 watch it here: https://t.co/bKAFPVkoGa
@NCC_GatPark So disappointed won’t make it today!! Been following your news and park beauty for months; Gatineau only announced red zone last night at midnight, had it all planned from Ottawa. Until next year hopefully, fall rhapsody😷😔
@MoneyGram@MoneyGram im still waiting on your kind reply which is now long overdue already. Need a contact person, high ranked, to follow up on how operations are being handled in Lebanon.
@MoneyGram In addition, these $14 need to be bill by bill, exactly equal to $14, when Lebanon does not have 1$ bills in market and is currently scarce on dollars altogether. The office even refused to give me dollar change to $20, or even give me change in LBP. #moneygram#complaint#shame
Lebanon must make a decision next week. This is your Guide (roadmap) to Debt Restructuring i.e. what and who really matters in a case like Lebanon’s (a thread)
