NFL Draft & fantasy football. Half of NFL Rough Draft with @RoughDraftMike Top 5 overall in 5 year average of The Huddle Report Top 100 #SFBX Finals Runner-up
@TimCowlishaw Have we really not learned anything about sports gambling? This is such a bad take.
How about this? Should we allow executives of companies to buy or sell stock based on inside knowledge? Oh right, we don’t.
@kbop62 So you think that’s how taxes work? And that concern should just be from the states not the federal government? And just so you know…conservatives are the ones who champion states rights soooooo yaaaa.
@WilliamsonNFL Saying between the 1st and 4th round is completely arbitrary. There’s a significant difference between the investment of a round 1, round 2-3 and day 3 quarterback.
Allar is going in that range in fantasy bc of how weak overall this draft is in skill position players
@NullyAndVoid@CeaserWrestles Hes very talented, his character work, in ring, just a really good athlete all around. Just horribly under utilized or misused.
If you were hoping the Steelers were going to draft a QB in 2027, I hate to tell you that drafting Drew Allar likely means they more than likely won't be drafting another early round QB next spring IMO.
I don't think you draft a developmental QB like Allar with the expectation of him proving himself as an NFL starter in Year 1. I think he's the type of guy you draft, stash & develop for a year behind a veteran, then give him his chance in Year 2.
Now, obviously that plan could change depending on what happens this year, but at this point I wouldn't put too high of a percentage on PIT drafting a RD1 QB next year, for better or for worse.
@ASaunders_PGH One reason for this though is injuries. Darnell Washington and Payton Wilson fell due to injuries and that’s one thing consensus boards don’t often take into account. Sometimes that due to lack of information. We saw that this year with Jermod McCoy.
@theblockspot This is one sided. What about all the guys who did develop that weren’t first rounders for a long time or big recruits
Patrick Mahomes
Fernando Mendoza
Jayden Daniels
Cam Ward
Josh Allen
Baker Mayfield
