True. Its not a theory.
Nothing can ever be proven 100% true. We can surmise the odds being so great it is absurd to argue the point, but never 100%... because we cannot know what we dont know and there could be a missing piece of the puzzle that no one has ever seen.
We can however, prove things are impossible in a context. Ie- the earth cannot be flat because we have photographs supplied every 10 minutes that civilians can intercept directly from the satellite. Or the moon cannot be local or people on opposite sides of the earth would see different sides of the moon but when anyone looks up at the moon, they see the exact same thing as anyone else who can see it at that time. Even 200,000 miles would give a potentially noticeable change.. 238,000 miles just males the difference indistinguishable.

So you can look at the cloud pattern above you, then check to see it matches from the ISS.
