I'm at a loss for words. @MarcSantia4NY took the time to talk to me about how baseball saved my life. It was featured on @NBCNewYork. If you have a minute, I would sincerely appreciate it if you would check it out. I want to help you all see #30Stadiums. https://t.co/SowbBRjnbq
I turned 41 last week. For the second time in my life, I can not wait to see what the next baseball season brings for my Detroit Tigers.
I love you all. Have a wonderful offseason. I’m going to Hawaii.
I attended the first game at Comerica Park this season. I attended the final game at Comerica Park this season.
The Tigers last won the World Series in 1984. I was one. They spent the majority of my childhood and young adulthood as the WORST team in baseball.
I’ve been lucky to have an innumerable amount of non-baseball related happy moments since then, but this truly miraculous run with a team of babies fills me with a joy and optimism I haven’t felt in a long time.
I still can’t believe I’m here. In Detroit. In October. I am indescribably happy. Regardless of what happens next, this year has been a success beyond my wildest imagination.
I love this team.
I love this city.
I love baseball.
I love all of you.
Let’s go Tigers.
I thought I’d been to my last live ballgame in ‘24.

ZERO POINT TWO PERCENT.
Those were the Tigers odds of making the playoffs on August 11th.
Yet I’m watching the Tigers in October for the first time in a decade.
I have no words. Just joy.

I love Detroit.
This is what I do during every Tigers game. I power walk by the seaport like a MANIAC while listening to the game because my heart can’t take the stress of watching it. This team is either going to give me a heart attack or keep me alive for 50 more years. I LOVE BASEBALL!
@jimmypardo@jasonbenetti It's been absolutely surreal, and I still can't believe we get to hear Benetti call our games. I genuinely believed he was our best offseason acquisition, and I still believe that. He is an absolute joy to listen to.
What did I tell you on Opening Day? It’s been a rough few years for me personally. It’s been a rough decade for the Tigers. If you’re not a baseball fan, I get it. But there is something magical happening in Detroit right now. And I’ve never been happier. Baseball is special.
Tigers Home Opener! And I have a VERY special guest. Every time I come to Detroit, I stay with Jessica and Adam. This year, I’m joined by their daughter Claire! The Tigers have a young core of players who aren’t that much older than Claire. These kids are incredibly fun to watch.
It’s taken a decade for me to force @zack_hample to sit and enjoy ONE game without the pressure of snagging a single ball. With us is his amazing videographer Rachel and another ball hawking lunatic @grbnyc123 (both of whom I adore). I love baseball. I love baseball people.
San Francisco. After years of complaining about your lack of mini helmet ice cream, you DELIVERED with waffle glove on top. It’s my last road trip of the season. Thank you to everyone who joined me for a game. I’m grateful to have met so many new amazing fans across the country.
@reggman44 I don't know what I'd do if the Tigers left Detroit. It's genuinely unfathomable. I'm sorry your pathetic ownership has never cared about the incredible people who have supported this team, even when the front office refused to invest in them. The city of Oakland deserves better.
For the first time in my life, I didn’t watch a single pitch while inside a ballpark. I spent all nine innings walking around the Coliseum. I commiserated with fans, ushers, vendors, and security guards.
