Two trucks cleared the far right lane while two trucks idled.
The I-495 pedestrian bridge is clear, but that leads to sidewalks with mounds of ice, highway exit ramp with no yield, and poor field of vision because the ice is taller than some people. @MDSHA@MCPS@mbhsSCO
Let children walk to school!
@MDSHA when will the sidewalks between @mcps Blair HS and Eastern MS be clear?
I saw trucks clearing the far right lane and children walking on sidewalk boulders walking from Blair HS after the 2/4/26 bomb threat evacuation. @CMEvanGlass
@MDSHA it’s code GREEN at @mcps today and walkers have the worst conditions of rush hour nonstop traffic and sidewalk boulders.
I was scared for the students walking from MBHS today since one big slip would land them in the right lane of traffic. @BlairPTSA@mbhs_blazers
Pleased to announce that this fall #UMD will be offering students the opportunity to earn a MS in artificial intelligence. This class will teach the fundamentals of AI while providing students the knowledge to tackle critical questions about how AI and society function together.
“So this means that MCPS was effectively receiving a 32-acre donation of land from the Crown developer and had twenty years to build on it. If the deadline passes, MCPS would risk giving it up.”

I'm glad we were able to piece together an amazing day. I always love an opportunity to showcase how much fun students can have in college.

I gave my youngest a @UMDCollegeofEd experience by taking him to @david_blazar Impact Evaluation course. As we walked out of class, he said " as soon as he said the RCT is a coin flip, it's like Roblox. You are offered an upgrade based on a coin flip. #RoutePhD#RaisingSTEMists
Our third stop was @TerpZoneUMD where we bowled until hunger hit. The Y dining hall was the final stop on our #TakeYourKidToWorkDay adventure.
His final words about this experience were "I wish I could do this tomorrow too". #RaisingSTEMists
