Since 2018, over 6.5k tradespeople have worked 11.75M+ hours on CBA projects throughout the province. More women and young people have been able to get work in the trades because of these agreements. This conservative attack on tradespeople would have put all of this at risk.

Since 2023, over 600,000 people have been connected to a family doctor or nurse practitioner with 4,000 more matched every week. Today, 77% of people in B.C. have a primary care provider.

That's why we've added training spaces across BC for doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses. We're building the new SFU Medical School in Surrey, which begins training the next generation of doctors in September.

There are 105 new healthcare staff in Fraser Health, 72 in Vancouver Coastal, 97 on the Island, 83 in the Interior, and 31 in the North.

In the face of the Trump administration's attacks on medical science, BC is a particularly attractive place for healthcare workers.

One year ago tomorrow, Josephine Rotchford was born to MLA @drotchford_BC and her husband, Joey. Six hours later, Baby Jo made her debut in the House—albeit virtually from Victoria General Hospital—so her Mum could vote.

Over the last year, MLAs from all sides of the House, as well as Legislative Assembly staff, have warmly welcomed Baby Jo to the Chamber and @BCLegislature hallways.

Today, MLAs held a first birthday party in honour of her momentous arrival.
