Last year, I told Canadians I have a plan to build the strongest economy in the G7.
Today, under my leadership, Canada is the only G7 country officially in a recession.
I failed at the Bank of Canada. I failed at the Bank of England.
Now, I'm failing as Prime Minister.

He predicted, 1 year 3 months ago that the U.S is heading into a recession while Canada would be ok.
Meanwhile, today, the U.S is not in a recession but we are.
Amazing Economist!

CANADA FUN FACT:
DID YOU KNOW: @JustinTrudeau was the 1st Prime Minister in Canadian history whose best friend & college roommate is a CONVICTED pedophile?
And Justin LOVES to be around children, even asking parents to step away from the TV so he can have a 1 on 1 with kids!
WHAT A SWELL FELLA!

1,000 foot soldiers are operating in Canada today.
A non-citizen criminal network operating on our soil, extorting and firing bullets at our people. This is what Liberals have unleashed with their soft-on-crime and open border policies.
Charge them. Convict them. Deport non-citizen offenders.
Stop extortion and protect our people: https://t.co/8tElw5KCFn
Carney spent an entire campaign presenting himself as the sophisticated adult in the room, the steady hand who could manage Canada's relationship with Washington.
Then he wandered onto a stage and started talking about making America great again.
At this point, Canadians need a scorecard, a flowchart, and possibly one of those airport baggage trackers just to keep up with where the messaging has gone.
One week it's "Canada First."
The next it's "Make America Great Again."
By midsummer we'll probably be told the fastest way to strengthen Canada is to mow North Dakota's lawn and rotate its tires.
The truly remarkable part is watching the same people who spent a decade treating "MAGA" like it was a communicable disease suddenly explain that this MAGA is different.
Cleaner. Safer. Government inspected. Recommended as part of a balanced political diet.
It's a bit like spending ten years campaigning against arson, winning office on a promise to stop fires, then standing in the front yard with a flamethrower explaining that this is actually a completely different kind of combustion.
Politics really is a wild ride.
A phrase that was supposedly an existential threat to civilization yesterday becomes visionary leadership today, provided the right person is reading it off the teleprompter.
Somewhere out there, irony is sitting at the kitchen table with a cigarette, a cold cup of coffee, and a look that says, "I leave you people alone for five minutes..." π¨π¦π
So let me get this straight...
Canada is in a recessionβthe only G7 country currently in one. Unemployment is up. Inflation is rising. Food insecurity is at a record high.
Yet the highest proportion of Canadians since 2017 now say the country is on the right track.
That's either a remarkable display of optimismβor a sign that many Canadians aren't getting the full economic story from the news they consume.
WOW
Canada has a terrorist invasion.
The Bishnoi Gang, a designated terrorist organization, just sent a letter to a the police, saying it has 1,000 gunmen on the ground.
The RCMP says itβs acting on behalf of the Indian government.
This requires IMMEDIATE & FIRM action.
βEvery individual weβve identified during this investigation is a temporary foreign worker or on a student Visa and relatively new to Canadaβ
Carney is in New York.
Here he is praising the U.S. and telling the audience that we need each other. He talks about their values, their resilience & how Canada & the U.S. need to be partners.
Donβt worry, when he comes back to Canada, he will go back to his usual rhetoric of how we donβt need them and they basically suck.
How much of this speech will elbows up Canadians see from our media machine?
