If a child has an anxiety disorder & if school is one of the triggers for them, then school is effectively a burning building.
The child knows that flames are dangerous.
They know that smoke is dangerous.
The child senses danger.

It was wonderful to host the Wiltshire & Swindon Funders Network Meet the Funder event yesterday. It was a great opportunity for funders and groups to discuss funding opportunities, the challenges our voluntary sector is facing and how we might all work more closely together.
Recently I left the teaching world for pastures new and said goodbye to my precious art department. Lots of emotions running high but this beautiful gift from a friend summed it all up. I taught, I created, I learned a lot but I left a little piece of me behind too.
A decent chunk of my teaching relies on Star Wars analogies and the number of teenagers who’ve seen ANY of the films is essentially 0 now.

Arcade night! It was a close tie, first I took the lead with two sets of air hockey AND snowboarding but Amy rightfully won second place winning at racing and basketball 🏀🏂
I’m so proud of each student who added something artistic to the creation of our student charter! Creating their vision this last week has given me some amazing memories with my arty superstars!
Our Student Council has been working on our School Charter and I am very impressed with the expectations they have drawn up for all our students to abide by.
