Even worse, as well as obliterating light in my garden, this 6ft high behemoth has panels which are only 4ft high, meaning that my new neighbours are now able to see into ALL of my garden and most of the rooms in my home (including through the upstairs window). #Heartbroken
My garden was my favourite place in the world.
I had 2 pretty patios, filled with sunlight that nourished me & my pots of flowers. Above these, I recently created a Devon mound, & filled it with crocosmia bulbs.
Then, last week, my neighbours built this.😭

@duolingo If only that were true. Duolingo is so full of bugs now, it's stressful to use, and no one from customer services ever replies to requests for help.
@tim_taylor10@HackettOfficial@amandalehmann25 I completely agree. I would quickly run out of superlatives to describe it if I tried.
Steve was the first artist I ever saw live when on the 'Cured' tour. You may as well start with the best. 😁 Thank you, Steve, Nad and all for another transcendent show.❤️
I hope @ragehomaar is OK.
It's bad enough to be taken ill at work, without the eyes of the whole world upon you to witness your discomfort.
He showed what a true professional he is though by soldiering on to the end.
Get well soon Rageh.
📢 Our Lugg Meadow Nature Reserve in #Hereford is under threat from a planning application
The development would be right next to our protected SSSI site, risking irreversible damage to the ancient Lammas #meadow

Interestingly, Hollis frequently had to fend off accusations of pretention from the music press for publicly admitting to being influenced by Delius, Debussy & Ravel for example. He told me in a 1986 interview that Can’s 'Tago Mago' inspired the riff in 'Life's What you Make It.'
"Mark Hollis left the music industry. Since then, there’s been no hint of a Talk Talk comeback or reunion; only a profound silence," writes Sid Smith in @LouderPosts magazine.
Well, duh. Hardly surprising given that Mark Hollis sadly passed away in 2019.
