No shame in losing to Man City…
It’s the fact we lose like that to so many teams. The same way we lost to Everton and Brentford (twice).
The “well it’s Man City” excuse doesn’t wash when you’re regularly collapsing like that.
4 years in and we still can’t pass the fucking ball and we have no answer for teams that can.
So much money spent and clearly so many of this lot haven’t got the technical ability to go to the next level, due to Eddie’s preference of athleticism over technique.
The fact this is never highlighted in the media shows what a soft ride Eddie is given as it’s fucking criminal for money he’s spent.
Players looking confused while out of position, a total collapse after scoring… We’ve seen this countless times this season.
In previous seasons we’ve seen Eddie have the odd bad game when it comes to in game management, but the amount of times he’s looked absolutely CLUELESS this season should be alarming to the entire fan base.
If you can’t spot that you don’t know football it’s that obvious.
Throwing games from winning positions and almost never winning from behind - it’s become a trademark of Eddie Howe’s side.
Since January 2026 we have conceded 3 or more goals SEVEN times. It’s only been just over 2 fucking months.
So we can’t defend, we don’t pass the ball well and our attack is a total shambles without a plan other than pressing high.
I don’t understand how anyone can watch this football consistently and see where Eddie Howe is taking us forward. We have regressed so much it’s staggering.
Playing Woltemade in midfield should be the final straw as any IDIOT can see that’s not been working and he was far more effective as a striker.
I hate how stubborn Eddie is when he’s so blatantly wrong.
Eddie isn’t even getting the basics right aside from the odd game where pure effort from the lads gets us over the line.
Absolute shambles.

So let me get this straight…
- Alexander Isak was promised a new contract last summer by minority owner Amanda Staveley.
- Staveley that same summer is forced to sell her stake in NUFC.
- Newley appointed Sporting Director Paul Mitchell tells Isak he’s not getting a new contract.
- Isak makes no fuss. Makes repeated statements and interviews throughout the 2024/25 season expressing his love for Newcastle, the city and the fans.
- Scores 27 goals in all comps.
- Proudly celebrates winning the Carabao Cup.
- Celebrates helping secure Champions League football for the second time in three seasons.
- Pre season starts and Isak joins up with the squad and trains on the Austria tour.
- Expresses his delight when the club signed fellow compatriot Anthony Elanga.
- Liverpool make informal move for him and Isak then downs tools.
- Liverpool at the same time rival and sign Newcastle’s top striker target Hugo Ekitike (Suitable replacement for Isak)
- Isak then refuses to join club on Asia tour due to ‘injury’ and has trained alone ever since.
- Tells the club he won’t play for them again and releases info to the public via intermediaries.
- Reportedly rejects new contract offer from Newcastle.
- Makes first public statement after making the PFA team of the year and accuses the club of “broken promises”
- Still no official transfer request.
Hmmm🤔 All I’m seeing is someone spitting their dummy out. Nothing changes imo.
I’m sorry Alex but the issue with ‘informal promises’ is they’re not enforceable.
But what is enforceable is his contract up until 2028 with no release clause…
The way I see it Liverpool have let him down signing Ekitike. He’s been poorly advised and represented by his agent.
Enjoy the sidelines brother 👍🏻

@GorBonyo@ScottyTalksToon Fairs. Guess we can’t all be an overseas Kenyan based plastic who only supports the team they do because they were successful in the past and have no other actual ties to the club or area other then being said glory hunting plastic.
Man Utd spending money like it’s going out of fashion!
Meanwhile other clubs who’ve finished above them & have European football producing further income, are forced to sell in order to stay within PSR regulations…
Great work by @nqatpod who has upscaled to 4k and slowed it down.
Rogers stands on his hand which is a foul regardless of whether the ball is in the keeper’s control or not.
So VAR would have backed up the ref’s decision anyway.
Enjoy the Europa.
Upscaled to 4k, slowed down to super slo-mo so we can all see the clear foul now. Turns out the ref got it 100% right. Now let's put this to bed. Villa can withdraw their non-sensical statement and the media can rewind 24 hours and delete all the hysterical content.
Just remembered Eddie Howe was Bournemouth manager when they were only relegated because Aston Villa benefitted from goal line technology not being switched on in 2020.
Which manager benefitted from this today at Villa’s expense? Eddie Howe.
I think the word is “karma”.

@danwinwoodoffic We beat PSG 4-1 mate. Didn’t have a full strength team today and got the job done. Give it a rest. Off you pop. I’ve given you plenty of leeway on here but you’re like a little gnat to be fair. Or a flea.
