On this day 9 August 1982, 3 members from SA Airforce & 12 members from 1 Para Battalion were killed when their Puma helicopter was shot down near Cuvelai, Angola. The remains of the Paras are interred in 1 casket in the Paratroopers Memorial. RIP Brothers. We will never forget!!
