@EspiraTV Riftbound has some crazy rules slop. If you want an aneurysm look at "Targeting" section in the core rules. No card in the game actually says "target".

Cards that say "choose" "target" unless they don't. Cards with "can't be chosen" are still choices for non-targeting effects

I've been enjoying Riftbound quite a bit as a competitive game, but holy shit is the rules slop fucking abysmal for a game only in its third set. I thought Bandai was bad at making cards that don't do what they say, but Riot easily just lapped them in that regard.

@kewlbot Honestly I think it's smartphones that kinda killed these off. Every kid has their own smartphone by middle school now. Gameboys and quirky devices like these got replaced by apps.
