I could sit my daughter in front of the tv all day and probably get a lot more done, except I choose to actually play with her and parent her when we know screen time is not needed whatsoever and can be harmful… that’s just me though 🤗🤭

The MAHA Report called out one of the most ignored threats to kids’ health: Screen time.

Studies show screen time increases:
• Depression
• Poor sleep
• Sedentary behavior
• Decreased cognition

Simple swaps:
– No screens before age 3
– 2 hrs outdoor time per day
– Read a real book
– Play in dirt
– Eat without distractions

We’ve outsourced parenting to pixels.

Being a parent is hard because now I see people post doing things with their babies that are scientifically bad for the baby’s development or safety, and I have to sit and bite my tongue because no one knows how to take constructive criticism. Ultimately it’s sad for the baby
