It's been 24 hours, and the outpouring of support to my announcement means everything to me. You have no idea. Thank you for your kind words. It makes me want to find a new way to keep being a positive force in gaming.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for playing <3
@Mortdog I just hope you create your own auto battler from scratch someday and that it’s even better than TFT, because we know you can do it. We love you, Mort.
My time at Riot and on TFT as a Game Designer has come to an end. Just under 10 years, and to be honest I thought it was going to be longer, but sometimes things change.
-------------------------------------------------
I’m so grateful for what I was able to be a small part of, and able to accomplish in the last decade. It’s been a dream career, and I have got to do so much thanks to Riot. Even trying to list it all feels insane what I managed to do in this time. And the crazy 7 years on TFT where I got to design, balance, teach, lead, and more for my job, but then also build a community, stream, cast, go to events…it’s just been amazing. Ending on stuff like the Unlock system and a couple other things…I’m heading out proud.
To everyone I worked with over the years, thank you for letting me be a part of everything we accomplished. I hope I managed to teach you something or bring you joy in some way. I genuinely hope our paths cross again in the future.
To everyone who supported TFT or me over the years, you have no idea what it means to me. I cherish all the moments over the years, and they’ll keep me going. I am so blessed to have been a part of your lives and thank you for letting me bring some fun into your world.
-----------------------------------------------------
So…what’s next for me? I’m trying to figure that out.
First off, since I was on sabbatical and am terrible at relaxing/not working, I have been making my own small indie game. I’m about 2 months into development and have already had folks playtesting some early builds. I’d say the game is like 20-30% done, but my goal is to release it as a full game. It’s been fun keeping my skills sharp in a different space, and I hope to share it with you all someday.
Beyond that, I’m keeping my eyes open for other opportunities. I’ve had a few conversations here and there already during my Sabbatical. It’s a brutal industry right now, so I’m taking one day at a time and figuring out what’s next for me, whether it’s working on another studio’s game or even my own thing.
And I’d love to find a space to do some content creation and be able to share my knowledge of game development. But that may take some time to figure out how to do it right.
-------------------------------------------------------Again, thank you for everything these last 10 years. It’s a big change and I’m nervous but hoping it all works out. Until next time, take it easy!

Diablo 4 has been full of bugs since launch. Now players are losing items with the Horadric Cube transmog system because of broken aspects and glitches. Why not add a scroll to restore transmogs and make the game enjoyable for once?.@Diablo
@Diablo Also, the fact that in the end only one optimal build per class is really viable makes no sense either. Can you please make the gameplay experience enjoyable for players for once?
@Diablo Since Diablo 4 launched, the experience has constantly felt tedious because the game has always been full of bugs, issues, and mistakes from the Blizzard team. And now, with the new option to transmog items in the Horadric Cube, a lot of items have been ruined because of bugs and
@Diablo errors when creating amulets or builds where aspects simply didn’t work properly.
Wouldn’t it be much easier to add a scroll or some kind of item that allows gear to become transmoggable again, so players can recover items affected by all these bugs and actually enjoy the game?
@millybluewan Destrozaron la serie, y que me dicen de los nuevos enemigos, las ardillas, igualito que la excelente actuación de Manin. #LaReinaDelFlow3
@Mortdog A thousand thanks for this Set 13! I’ve been playing since Set 1, and this has been the best one by far. You absolutely nailed it—it’s been truly insane. I don’t know if we’ll ever see anything like this again
@Mortdog Hello, I wanted to congratulate you for the great work on this set, I have been playing TFT since set 1 and this is without a doubt the best set of all time, you don't know what you are going to get, that you can win with any composition, or what A duo event comes out is great
@PezRadar a 35% experience event that was 25% and never changed, poorly done Spanish translations by the blizard team in the home panel, classes without depth and only work in meta 2, a hastily created AOZ, an event Christmas that nobody plays... you have a lot to improve.
@PezRadar Another thing to keep in mind is that it should have a menu to create teams for different types of objectives, to make it easier to find people to play with, and finally give meaning to playing as a team and creating group compositions for overcome challenges.
@PezRadar Adam, are you proud of Diablo4? a lot of skill branches in all the characters that are not even fun, and only function hota and ball lighting. a game that consists of creating builds... this game needs a total change
@PezRadar All the characters are built without depth, no one uses the basic skills, and what a shame to know that the only character that reaches 25 AOZ is the barbarian.
@PezRadar I have played many hours of all the devils including POE so I know what I'm talking about, Explain to me how it can be that all the characters are equipped with 3 useless defensive skills that are just pressing a button, such as ice and fire shields, nova, the barbarian's screams
