These 4th and 5th graders made frame drums with @mrsfried that have West-African kente-cloth-inspired decorations and used them to create a rhythmic speech-piece with Ms. Teuscher. Nice job, soloists! #musicEd @AOSA1968

Connecting how "music brings people together." We studied the history and influence of African American social dance (Camille Brown) and the evolution of Jazz, and came up with choreography that includes the Charleston, the twist, and other Lindy Hop inspiration! #ibpyp
