@MeidasTouch How much hate can you possess to self destruct at this rate? The richest man in the world! Dude should be on a yacht somewhere soaking up the sun. Yet he's spending his money and time destroying the lives of the middle and lower class in America.
Just figured out where these fake tariff rates come from. They didn't actually calculate tariff rates + non-tariff barriers, as they say they did. Instead, for every country, they just took our trade deficit with that country and divided it by the country's exports to us.
So we have a $17.9 billion trade deficit with Indonesia. Its exports to us are $28 billion. $17.9/$28 = 64%, which Trump claims is the tariff rate Indonesia charges us. What extraordinary nonsense this is.
When you look at this crowd AOC is drawing today, here’s the part you should remember.
This is Greeley, Colorado where GOP Congressman Gabe Evans refuses to hold a town hall.
They should all be counting their days in office.
The Trump administration is aiming to detain migrant children in jail-like facilities — and is also looking to roll back a program providing legal aid to unaccompanied minors https://t.co/ZdAvKPoBl1
The daughter of the first enlisted Black man to serve in the Marine Corps, told ABC News she finds it "unbelievable" that the webpage honoring her father's service has been taken down as a part of DEI scrubbing at the Pentagon.

This is really notable. Despite a very concerted effort to find lots of waste and fraud, DOGE has found almost none.
That's partly because they are looking in the wrong places! The biggest waste in the federal budget is tax breaks that go to rich people.
Casar: On a roll? What I know is that when the ultra-rich and special interests were on a roll in the 1920s and started controlling the government, they crashed the economy and caused the Great Depression. When the ultra-rich and big banks were controlling the government, they were “on a roll” and caused the Great Recession in 2008. We’ve got to stop that roll—we can’t let them do something like that again.
The only cure, the only solution to oligarchy, is the actual power of working people. The only solution to wannabe autocrats is more democracy. So we need more and more people to show up and speak out against Trump and Musk’s abuses. And when people speak out, we start to recognize that we actually still do live in a democracy, where we can have a real check and balance on these billionaires..
BREAKING:
The DOJ has informed European officials that the U.S. is withdrawing from a multinational group established to investigate war crimes in Ukraine and hold those responsible accountable, including Vladimir Putin, The New York Times reports.
The US can no longer claim to be the leader of the free world
DOGE signed an agreement with Louis DeJoy to slash 10,000 jobs from the already-understaffed USPS.
The USPS is the nation’s lifeline, ensuring delivery to every corner of the country.
We cannot allow it to be dismantled, sold off, and handed over to billionaires for profit.
60 years ago, a group of brave civil rights organizers marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama in the pursuit of justice and equality. Today we’re reminded of their courageous sacrifices, and tasked with the responsibility of doing what we can to carry forward their work.

America executed the Rosenbergs for far less. Their crime was helping the Soviet Union acquire a nuclear weapon, which was an inevitability. You inherited the legacy of the Greatest Generation only to ally with a mass-murdering tyrant invading a European democracy. That was not inevitable. It was unthinkable.
Thoughts from the US
"In my life, I have watched John Kennedy talk on television about missiles in Cuba. I saw Lyndon Johnson look Richard Russell squarely in the eye and and say, "And we shall overcome." I saw Richard Nixon resign and Gerald Ford tell the Congress that our long national nightmare was over. I saw Jimmy Carter talk about malaise and Ronald Reagan talk about a shining city on a hill. I saw George H.W. Bush deliver the eulogy for the Soviet bloc, and Bill Clinton comfort the survivors of Timothy McVeigh's madness in Oklahoma City. I saw George W. Bush struggle to make sense of it all on September 11, 2001, and I saw Barack Obama sing 'Amazing Grace' in the wounded sanctuary of Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
"These were the presidents of my lifetime. These were not perfect men. They were not perfect presidents, god knows. Not one of them was that. But they approached the job, and they took to the podium, with all the gravitas they could muster as appropriate to the job. They tried, at least, to reach for something in the presidency that was beyond their grasp as ordinary human beings. They were not all ennobled by the attempt, but they tried nonetheless.
"And comes now this hopeless, vicious buffoon, and the audience of equally hopeless and vicious buffoons who laughed and cheered when he made sport of a woman whose lasting memory of the trauma she suffered is the laughter of the perpetrators. Now he comes, a man swathed in scandal, with no interest beyond what he can put in his pocket and what he can put over on a universe of suckers, and he does something like this while occupying an office that we gave him, and while endowed with a public trust that he dishonors every day he wakes up in the White House.
"The scion of a multigenerational criminal enterprise, the parameters of which we are only now beginning to comprehend. A vessel for all the worst elements of the American condition. And a cheap, soulless bully besides. We never have had such a cheap counterfeit of a president* as currently occupies the office. We never have had a president* so completely deserving of scorn and yet so small in the office that it almost seems a waste of time and energy to summon up the requisite contempt.
"Watch how a republic dies in the empty eyes of an empty man who feels nothing but his own imaginary greatness, and who cannot find in himself the decency simply to shut up even when it is in his best interest to do so. Presidents don't have to be heroes to be good presidents. They just have to realize that their humanity is our common humanity, and that their political commonwealth is our political commonwealth, too.
Watch him behind the seal of the President of the United States. Isn't he a funny man? Isn't what happened to that lady hilarious? Watch the assembled morons cheer. This is the only story now."

Turns out, Tesla gutted most of its supercharger maintenance workers and the entire corporate supercharger team as well. For those who don’t know, Tesla’s supercharger network is the reason to own a Tesla.
That night, I told my wife, “We’re done with Tesla. Still getting an EV, but not from them.” By Sunday, we had another brand. Canceled my Tesla order.
This is what Musk has been doing to Tesla. Now imagine him doing it to the U.S. government. No human interaction. No accountability. Everything outsourced to AI. You need help? Too bad. You need answers? Figure it out yourself. We’re already seeing it now. Give him more power, and human interaction—customer service, government services, democracy itself—will be a thing of the past.
We are so fucked.

Democrats should boycott the State of the Union. Democrats keep calling this man a unique and dangerous threat, but never ACT like it.
For once, Democrats' *actions* should match their words.
