The weight isn't there to stop you.
It's there to develop you.
The pressure isn't there to destroy you. It's there to reveal you.
Most people spend their lives trying to avoid resistance.
The strongest people learn how to fight through it!

@UnSportsESPN … @msmallmon has her word of the day, but @ChrisCanty99 is not far behind with his daily idioms. Today, “Matt Stafford ain’t picking green bananas.” 🤷🏽♂️ I don’t know where he gets them, but it’s definitely competition for the WOD.
Some battles don't leave bruises. They leave questions.
Questions about your faith. Your future. Your purpose. Your strength.
On those days resilience looks a lot less like winning and a lot more like refusing to surrender!

The fight isn't always in front of you.
Sometimes it's the conversation happening inside your own head.
The one between faith and fear.
Between courage and comfort.
Between the person you've settled for becoming and the person you're capable of becoming.
Most people on the outside never see you those battles.
That doesn't make them any less real!
Fight Through It.

What a way to close out the school year. 🎉
Bounce houses, dance battles, fitness activities, friendly competition, and a whole lot of laughter at Windsor STEM School!
Thank you to all of our partners and volunteers who joined us for an awesome day just letting kids be kids!
Brilliant lunch at Northstar with my friend @Roy_Hall Hall, of @OhioStateFB , and the @Colts. Loved the discussion around our mutual faith in Jesus Christ. I'm thrilled about his forthcoming book and event: Fight Through It. We wrapped up our time discussing Instant IP @realInstantIP for athletes and how they can protect their NIL with our blockchain solution. Stay tuned for big updates.
Over the last 10 months, I’ve been working on something deeply personal that I truly hope helps people navigate adversity, resilience, leadership, perseverance, faith, and the difficult seasons of life we all eventually face.
My first book, FIGHT THROUGH IT officially releases June 16th and is available now for preorder.
More About Fight Through It: https://t.co/UDTXW8lZy9
Everybody is fighting through something.
Some battles are visible. Some battles are completely silent.
The older I get, the more I realize a lot of people are carrying pressure, disappointment, fear, uncertainty, grief, stress, exhaustion, and spiritual battles… while still doing their best to show up publicly every single day.
This book was written for anybody who has ever had to fight through something mentally, emotionally, spiritually, professionally, financially, or personally… and still found a way not to give up.
This is for you!

Last night was a really cool full-circle moment.
Had the opportunity to celebrate one of my former Ohio State coaches, @coachmarksnyder , as he was officially introduced as the first head football coach in Shawnee State University history!!
An inaugural NCAA Division II football program set to launch in 2028.
What an awesome opportunity for @ShawneeState and honestly a perfect fit.
Coach Snyder was one of the coaches who helped me understand early in my career that football wasn’t just about being a wide receiver.
He gave me opportunities on special teams and challenged me to contribute in other ways. That may sound small to some people, but it changed the way I viewed team culture, leadership, sacrifice, and accountability.
That lesson has stayed with me far beyond football.
37 years of coaching experience.
National championship pedigree.
Head coaching experience.
Leadership.
Consistency.
Character.
After hearing Shawnee State President Eric Braun and AD Gerald Cadogan share the vision for the future, you could feel the belief in the room.
Grateful for the invitation to the Columbus Athletic Club and grateful for coaches like Coach Snyder who leave lasting impact far beyond the game.
Can’t wait to watch the Bears build this thing from the ground up.
Go Bears… but it’s always Go Bucks 😉
I was honored to take part in today’s wreath-laying ceremony for Ohio’s Gold Star families. We are forever grateful to the brave men and women who have given their lives in service to our country – and to the families who carry that sacrifice with strength and grace every day.
Spent some time recently speaking to the @UFLGamblers about faith, pressure, perspective, purpose, and the weight that often comes attached to the things we “want.”
A lot of people are emotionally exhausted by the very thing they once begged God for.
Prayed for leadership…now frustrated by responsibility.
Asked for opportunity…now overwhelmed by expectation.
Wanted development…now uncomfortable because growth requires sacrifice, discipline, criticism, pressure, and uncomfortable decisions.
That’s the part people don’t talk about enough.
Everybody wants the blessing. Not everybody wants the burden attached to it.
Purpose has weight and sometimes the pressure you feel isn’t proof that you’re failing…it’s proof that what you’re carrying actually matters.
Perspective changes everything.
If your current situation doesn’t look the way you hoped, don’t surrender your life to complaining. Adjust. Refocus. Get disciplined again. Change your habits. Change your environment. Change your mindset. Change your circle if you need to.
You still have the ability to fight your way forward.
Also grateful to Coach Kevin Sumlin for the opportunity. Always respect leaders who care about developing the man and not just the athlete.
Also, it was genuinely good seeing former Buckeye Damon Arnette. Seeing him locked in, refocused, smiling, working, and continuing to fight through was powerful to see.
Buckeye brotherhood is real.
Keep fighting through it!
That is why we do what we do!!!
You do it for the people that you love.
You do it for the people that got you here.
Even if they aren’t here, you honor your mother. You honor your father. You honor your grandparents. You honor the people that came over on a boat, to make a living and make a start of a life for you.
You tap into that why and you never let it go!!
When you love someone, when they love you, when you feel unconditional, God-given, heaven-dropped love, you FIGHT, you scratch, you claw, and you punch through whatever adversity that stands in between you and taking care of that person.
I’ve been blessed to be able to have that motivation.
I’m encouraging everyone on this stage, everyone in the back, everyone down there…question yourself when you’re on your way home.
How am I honoring the people that have come before me? How am I honoring the people that are still here with me?
But my God, you guys should not be motivated by what you get from football. You gotta be motivated by what you can give because of football.

Mondays are too important to approach casually.
I recently spoke at a large corporate event on a Monday morning, and one of the first things I told them was this:
Don’t ease into your purpose. Don’t slowly drift into your responsibilities. Don’t wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to finally bring your best energy into the week.
Attack the week. Attack your mindset. Attack your preparation. Attack your opportunities. Attack your leadership.
How you start matters. Mondays set the tone.
Whether you’re walking into a classroom, a boardroom, a sales meeting, a hospital, a construction site, a practice field, or a personal battle nobody else knows about…people will feel your energy before they ever hear your words.
That’s a REAL leadership principle.
Leadership is bringing consistency when emotions fluctuate. Leadership is staying focused when distractions are everywhere. Leadership is showing up dependable when life gets heavy.
Some of the greatest opportunities in your life will arrive disguised as pressure, responsibility, adversity, and moments that force you to stretch beyond what feels comfortable.
So don’t coast this week.
Respond better. Think better. Speak better. Prepare better. Little decisions repeated daily eventually become the foundation of your future.
These are the exact kinds of conversations we’re going to have on June 18th at the 5th Annual Roy Hall Jr. Leadership Conference.
Featuring:
🏆 Ryan Day, Ohio State Head Football Coach & National Championship-winning Head Coach
🏀 Clark Kellogg, CBS Sports Analyst
🏈 Troy Smith, Heisman Trophy Winner
Along with other impactful leaders discussing leadership, resilience, mindset, teamwork, culture, faith, discipline, and growth.
Built for educators, coaches, entrepreneurs, business leaders, corporate teams, parents, students, and anyone committed to continuing to grow personally and professionally.

Let’s have a great week. Every day is a gift.
🙏🏾 all the people I know are doing ok...For the ones that aren't, please hang in there and reach out to someone to get help or just listened to. Vent, let it out. Be blessed!
I really believe everybody has a calling on their life, but I think we’ve romanticized purpose too much.
People talk about calling like it’s supposed to arrive wrapped in confidence, clarity, and comfort.
Most of the time it doesn’t. Calling usually shows up demanding something from you first.
Growth. Discipline. Vulnerability. Courage.
Sometimes your assignment enters your life in a way that actually makes you uncomfortable because discomfort is often the training ground for the next version of you.
That’s the part people don’t always tell you.
Your gift may open doors, but it will also stretch you in ways you didn’t expect.
There are moments you’ll question yourself. Moments you’ll compare yourself. Moments you’ll wonder if you’re truly capable of carrying what’s in front of you.
I’ve lived that.
Even now, after speaking engagements, I still evaluate myself constantly. There are moments I walk off stage replaying parts of the message in my head, thinking about how I can improve, communicate better, connect deeper, grow more.
Don’t waste your experiences trying to appear polished. The world doesn’t need a perfect version of you.
It needs an HONEST one.
GROWTH forces you to confront insecurity, fear, ego, comfort, and excuses all at the same time. Somewhere in that process, you start realizing your gift isn’t just an opportunity.
It’s a responsibility.
Thankful for companies like ADS that continue investing in people, leadership, mindset, and culture.
In a world full of surface-level noise, that kind of intentionality still matters.
AlsO, the 5th Annual Roy Hall Jr. Leadership Conference is only five weeks away.
If you’re serious about growth, leadership, mindset, resilience, and becoming better personally and professionally, I’d love to have you in the room with us.
