@viewsofa42yo@linmeitalks You people are insane. The guidance doesn't say you treat potential casualties differently depending on race. Again, if Henry was black and had been accused of breaking into a house, I believe they still would have cuffed him and taken too long to properly assess his injuries.
@viewsofa42yo@linmeitalks But I genuinely believe if Henry was any other race and the killer was any other race and the crime henry was accused of was different, the outcome would have been the same.
@viewsofa42yo@linmeitalks The family lied to the officers and because there wasn't obvious massive bleeding the officer fell for it rather than carrying out more detailed checks. I think the officer thought he was intoxicated like many other students in thay area are. Again, not saying any of it was right
@viewsofa42yo@linmeitalks All of which is poor policing that let Henry down. You can bet this will be being used in training programmes for recruits in future.
My point isn't to defend the police. My point is that I don't think the police treated him differently because he is white.
@viewsofa42yo@linmeitalks **Because they thought be was the suspect for the crime they had been called out to**
Be real, if they had been called out to say a burglary, and were greeted with the same scene, the outcome would have been the same regardless of race.
@KimCarolC@PolitlcsUK@HughMunculus If you aren't a bot, you will be pleased to know they didn't walk away. The one who assaulted the female officers is currently in jail awaiting sentencing.
@JackWillRoss@Ye_Olde_Holborn Just conveniently going to ignore Burnhams entire career which involves extensive parliamentary experience and 2 cabinet posts including Health Sec. Very rarely, if ever, has anybody so qualified to be an MP, stood as an MP.
@leizl201@DuxVul Absolutely. But the original tweet suggests he is some lightweight who has 'just' been an advisor when in reality he was responsible for housing in London and been No 2 at the Treasury.
He's certainly not a 'giant toddler' as I think you suggested.
@leizl201@DuxVul Although this particular one has extensive experience of running budgets as a former Deputy Mayor of London and Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
@angertab@Osint613 Last time police in the UK used a gun instead of a tazer in this kind of scenario an innocent bystander was killed by a bullet fired by an officer. With so many people around, a tazer was safer in this very specific scenario.
@JonJon88880000@Fx1Jonny@Geoff4273 You said Trump was 'ending' the 50 year war. But we both agree that we cannot trust a word he says. Hence my original question to you...is he really?
But here you are calling people dumbasses so you obviously have faith Iran will never be a threat again. Hope you are right!

Tying yourself in knots to defend the word of a man who's word cannot be be taken seriously.

Last summer he said Iran's nuclear capabilities had been 'obliterated' and 'monumental damage' had been done to 'all sites'. Looks like we both agree that was bullshit..So how can we have any confidence in anything he says about the operation this time?
